The Bulverde Community Park
The Bulverde Community Park is a general purpose family recreational facility built to serve the needs of people visiting, living in, or living near the City of Bulverde. Construction on the Bulverde Community Park was completed in March of 2014. The family-oriented park features practice sports fields; covered pavilions; a splash pad; a basketball court; and a multi-use, central play area. Sports Fields and Covered Pavilions
A common baseball/softball/soccer/football practice sports field is available for 2-hour reservation periods at a nominal fee (Note: There is only ONE field; it supports all four sports. Other, open areas that cannot be reserved are also available for sports practice).
One basketball court is available for nominal fee reservations in two-hour time periods.
Nearby pavilions may also be reserved for a nominal fee for planned family or community events (to make sports field reservations, click [here] or contact Bulverde’s City Offices at 830.438.3612).
The park’s playgrounds are conveniently accessible from all of the park’s family picnic areas, it features a toddler area as well as a play area for school-aged youngsters. Trees and two shade “toppers” help shield play surfaces from the hot Texas sun. A child-activated splash pad water feature with a shaded seating area is located close by; parents can simultaneously supervise youngsters playing in both areas. Nearby covered picnic pavilions may be reserved for a nominal fee for planned family or community events (to make pavilion reservations, click [here] or contact Bulverde’s City Offices at 830.438.3612).
