Find a Soccer Field
In and around the greater Bulverde area there are three large soccer complexes.
One is North of Bulverde on Hwy 281 at the Jumbo Evans Complex - 101 Jumbo Evans Blvd., Canyon Lake, TX 78070. Jumbo Evans Sports Park has approximately 65 acres that include 7 soccer fields, 4 baseball fields, and a tennis complex. J.L. “Jumbo” Evans served as a Comal County Commissioner for fifteen years from 1981 through 1996.
Two other complexes are South of Bulverde; one is the Specht’s Area Soccer Park at 204 W Specht Rd., Timberwood Park, TX.
The other southern complex is the GVTC Soccer Complex at 29064 Bulverde Road, San Antonio, Texas 78260.
Find a Park
The City offers a 12.5-acre park designed for active recreational uses that serve the individuals, families, groups, and leagues that participate in athletics, as well as children who enjoy playing in a playground, cooling off on the splash pad, or practicing sports. It is located at: 29815 Bulverde Lane, Bulverde, TX 78163. Future plans for Bulverde include the 1.68-acre BLA Park, located at: 30500 Wildcat Dr., Bulverde, TX 78163.

Other area park or recreational facilities include Guadalupe River State Park, located at 3350 Park Road 31, Spring Branch, TX 78070; and local HOA parks such as the Oak Village North Park at 30415 Olympus, Bulverde, TX 78163.
