Who We Are

The Friends of the Parks is a group of citizens, businesses, and organizations dedicated to bringing our community together by providing recreational and educational opportunities in our local parks to enhance the quality of everyday Bulverde life.

Tax Implications

The Friends of the Parks, through the Bulverde Community Park Association, is a 501(c)(3) corporation; your amenity sponsorship, purchased bricks, and other donations are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.  Consult your tax advisor for more information.

Bulverde Community Park Association

The Bulverde Community Park Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan group of Comal County citizens dedicated to improving the lives of all Bulverde and Spring Branch area residents through the preservation, expansion, proper maintenance, management, and safety of local public parks, recreational venues, sport fields, and open spaces.  Since our founding in 2001 we have been committed to ensuring greater access to public recreation opportunities and equal access for people of all physical abilities.  We work closely with the Bulverde City Council and the City's Parks Committee via the Friends of the Parks to involve citizens and community groups throughout the greater Bulverde area while encouraging ecologically and environmentally sound use of the area’s open areas, as well as increasing public interest and awareness of park advocacy.

Bulverde Community Park Association's Mission

The Park Association’s mission is to significantly increase the amount and effectiveness of personal, business, City, State, and Federal funding, to foster greater government accountability for recreational resources, and to achieve the equitable distribution of park funds and services.
